Kate DiCamillo is the award-winning author of many acclaimed books for young readers such as The Tale of Despereaux and Because of Winn-Dixie. She is the current National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, appointed by the Library of Congress. Following her presentation, participants are invited to a book sale and signing. Seating for the free event is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
